Post 2

This week has been a bit of an organizing week for me. I am just working on finishing up my survey for Courtney and my questionnaires for Janine and Michelle. I have also been working with Courtney to figure out dates that are good for me to come help with some workshops. Once I have the results of the survey and questionnaires I will be able to get into more intensive research.

I asked Professor Akey to be my mentor over e-mail and she said she would love to, so that was really exciting. I didn't have any time to meet with her during this week so we will be meeting either Monday or Wednesday to go over more details of my research. She seems really interested in what I am doing, and that makes me really happy. I think she will be a great help and I'm really excited to start getting more heavily involved in Empower Girls Buffalo!
