So, I am stressing out...bad. I can't seem to find a focus!!! I am going to continue my research and figure this out, by Wed. which is my meeting with McVicker.
However, I have been hanging out at the archives on campus and I am finding A LOT of great things. Also, today I spent hours at the Westfield Historical Society of Chaut. Co.. It was really interesting. Not as much info as I wanted to find though, but the experience was super awesome.
I want to hear more about what is at the historical society! I thought that your focus of research was going to be the relationship that this county has with food. My impression was that you were going to have numerous articles that you would write for your magazine, and they would all be on the theme of food but be talking about different aspects of food. Like some articles with the historic component, then maybe something about school lunches in the area, then some articles about the farmers market and then an article about food on campus, etc. That's just want I thought it would be like, how narrow does McVicker want you to go?
