I'm kind of at a stand still right now until I complete the Human Subjects test/survey, or whatever it is online. A lot of my research is going to be based off of surveys and questionnaires. I have talked to Courtney this week about the activities that she Janine and Michelle come up with for the girls and how they are based around the overall health and wellness of the girls. I am interested in how the girls are positively effected by these specific activities. Once again, in order to find out a lot of my answers I need surveys and questionnaires completed.
This spring break I will be participating in a workshop and will be meeting with Janine, Michelle and Courtney, so I am excited about that. I think that interacting with the girls a few more times and having more in depth meetings and conversations with the founders of Empower Girls Buffalo will help me develop more ideas for my research.
